Personal Injury

Why should you have to pay when someone else makes a mistake?  The law says you don’t have to.  If you have been injured by the wrongful act or negligence of a business or another person, the law provides you with the right to sue the business or person who hurt you and recover money damages.

If you are thinking of pursuing a claim, you should have counsel.  It doesn’t have to be us, but you should be represented, even in settlement negotiations.  At J. Murphy Firm, we have the experience, resources, capital, and people to go above and beyond in our representation of you.

Particularly when you have suffered a catastrophic loss, you need a firm that will leave no stone unturned.  OF course we will assemble your medical records, of course we will attempt settlement, and of course, if a settlement can’t be worked out, we won’t hesitate to file a court action.

While we’re doing the “of course” stuff, we’ll also do a little detective work.  Does this person have a history of hurting people?  Was your accident caught on any surveillance cameras?  If it was we’ll subpoena the recordings.  How about the social media presence of the person who hurt you?  Does their profile feature dancing marijuana leaves or brag about being a reckless driver?  We’ll snapshot it.

We handle Personal Injury Cases on a contingent fee basis.  This means that there is no money up-front from you and we get paid a percentage of the total recovery at the end of the case.  If we recover nothing, you pay nothing.  Ultimately, the more money we get for you, the more money we make.  This means we won’t leave money on the table.  We will investigate and go after every possible party we can get money from and we will seek maximum recovery.
